Cherry Hill Board of Education member and parent Mrs. Jane Scarpellino, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Justin Smith, and CHPS parent and community member Mrs. Miriam Stern testified at the NJ State Assembly Budget Hearing in Trenton on March 27, 2019 to advocate for increased state funding for our district. After the New Jersey Department of Education announced on Thursday, March 7, 2019, that the Cherry Hill Public Schools (CHPS) will receive $18,424,908 in aid for the 2019-2020 school year, members of the Fair Funding for Cherry Hill Schools Committee, CHPS Administration, the Cherry Hill Board of Education, and Cherry Hill Township met with Assemblypersons Lou Greenwald and Pamela Lampitt on Friday, March 8 to express concerns about the funding.
